Day 96 (7/26/26) – Windmill Harbour Marina to Safe Harbor Beaufort

Day 95 (7/25/26) – Layover in Hilton Head
We had a relaxing day exploring the Windmill Harbour community. We had two memorable dinners at the South Carolina Yacht Club and swam in their lovely pool. We’re off to Beaufort (pronounced beyoofort) SC tomorrow. Until next time – sweet dreams!

Day 94 (7/24/36) – Thunderbolt Marina to Windmill Harbour Marina (Hilton Head)
After a lovely week exploring historic Savannah, we departed today for Hilton Head. We had calm seas and light winds. Day 87 (7/17/26) – Kilkenny Marina to Thunderbolt Marina
We had a short, scenic cruise to Thunderbolt Marina just outside Savannah. Another hot day with calm seas and sunny skies. We saw a large number of dolphins in the Skidaway River. Day 85 (7/15/26) – Layover on Jekyll Island
Today we explored a bit more of Jekyll Island. We visited the History Museum, Faith Chapel, and the Georgia Sea Turtle Center, which includes a wildlife rehab clinic. We really enjoyed the laid back charm of Jekyll Island. Tomorrow we’re off to Ossabaw Island, a day’s trip from Savannah. Until next time – sweet dreams!

A quick update on our boat repairs. After getting a high engine temperature alarm on the port engine, we shut the engine down and pulled into Camachee Cove Harbor to troubleshoot and repair.
