We had an early departure this morning from Daytona Beach. The Saint Augustine Municipal Marina is well known among Loopers for its strong currents and difficult docking. Today’s highlights were manatees and traffic, traffic, and more traffic. What were we thinking?? It’s Fourth of July weekend!! We are safely docked at the lovely Halifax River Yacht Club in Daytona and we’re staying put until Monday. We plan to visit Daytona Motor Speedway on Sunday. Until next time – sweet dreams!

We had a fun day exploring Kennedy Space Center near Titusville. I highly recommend a visit if you pass through. Get there early and get to the bus tours first thing before the crowds arrive.
