

The wood stork (Mycteria americana) is North America’s only native stork, a large, long-legged wading bird with a distinctive bald, dark gray head and a thick, slightly curved bill.


Today’s highlight – we hit 2,000 miles on our Great Loop Journey!
Today’s lowlight…we lost the autopilot and had to manually maneuver a ton of wiggles. So happy to be docked! The Safe Harbor Charleston City Marina is quite nice and we are excited to explore the historic city of Charleston in the coming days. Until next time – sweet dreams!
