Day 73 (7/3/26) – Titusville Marina to Halifax River Yacht Club

Rocky shallows along the AICW.
Allenhurst Bridge approach.
We passed many miles of manatee protection zones. They love the warm waters and yummy sea grass. They often get injured by boat props so we kept our eyes open and our speed slow when there was a sighting.
Holiday weekend boat chaos all around us.

Today’s highlights were manatees and traffic, traffic, and more traffic. What were we thinking?? It’s Fourth of July weekend!! We are safely docked at the lovely Halifax River Yacht Club in Daytona and we’re staying put until Monday. We plan to visit Daytona Motor Speedway on Sunday. Until next time – sweet dreams!
