Day 12 (12/19/25) – Layover at Orleans Marina

Our slip for the holidays
My favorite Louisiana beer, Ghost in the Machine from Parish Brewery in Broussard. A fine gumbo dinner at Rosedale’s tops off a lovely evening.
Metrics for leg 1 of our journey. Only 5,600 miles to go! There are 4 legs overall. We plan to cross our wake in Mobile, Alabama in late 2027.

We’re taking a little holiday break to spend time with family. Look for a continuation of our travels in January 2026!
